Product Description
In this age of diversity and political correctness, many people are sensitive to vocabulary that is inconsistent or inappropriate with their culture or religious beliefs. H.D. Curet's new "how to" book provides readers with a selection of popular words and phrases with religious roots to the Bible that should be removed from one's vocabulary to avoid the risk of offending friends and loved ones. In his guidebook, Mr. Curet infuses a sense of fun and great verve as he supplies dozens of words and phrases he feels have roots to traditions and documents of world religions. He then suggests substitute words and phrases in our vocabulary that are "Biblical and religion-based," writes the author, "in, hopefully, a humorous way." Indeed, H.D. Curet's "little book" will enlighten, amuse, and provide excellent insight into what he feels constitutes socially acceptable vocabulary in today's "politically correct" world.

A biased opinion here, but aren’t they all! I really enjoyed this book and like the way it is divided into sections not just set up like a dictionary. Some ‘definitions’ are very insightful and giving the PC expression is very humorous. Highly recommend.
