When I was a kid I always listened to the Carpenters. I still play their songs to this day. Horizon is one of my favorite CD’s. I love this song and I love the Christmas Portrait CD. I play it over and over during the holiday season and Christmas Dinner. I love Karen’s voice so much and miss her.

i love this song so much…i dont care if i was born in the 90′s, this is one of the best groups I’ve have ever heard. There’s so much good music from the “old days” as people call it….maybe I’m an old person at heart.

i love this song! it makes me cry tho.. it makes me think of my loved one that recently died.. this christmas is gonna be the first one without her since i was two years old. :(
Whoa, Max……no one has said it better. I was a kid, too; and I knew – this is the real deal, the absolute classic………….it’s not Christmas until and unless I hear this on the radio, even though I can come here to youtube for it……Karen deserves her place in the airwaves for always and forever.

karen suffered from anorexia nervosa. She had had heart failure in her parents home and died on february 4th 1983.
I wish she could have loved herself as much as the rest of the world did! Such a beautiful woman with an angelic voice!!
