   I’m sorry if my comments are a problem yes the song is brilliant!!! I remember my feelings when it was released and when I hear & see the news today as I said `nothing changes` I wish they (our leaders) would change to make the world a better place and not just talk about it

    This has always been my favorite version of this song. Thank you for posting it!

    No Christmas is ever complete without this song to put things into perspective. Truly a classic!

    r.i.p all aunt pat ,uncle arty and both my grandparents. xmas and our family has never been the same without you. i miss those home made goodies that my aunt made that gift was such a loving thing to do.godbless you all,peace

    this is a song to show all the modern pop(sic) stars what a christmas song is about , all the emphasis on a child’s point of view and then the reality of the modern age which since this song was released has not changed WAR Death destruction are still going on today not the sickly sweet nice xmas that only exists in the minds of money grabbing companies
    time to grow up and face it nothing changes with the human race

    He held on to a couple mountain goats. Then, when he’d reached the summit, the Royal Air Force used a precision drop to deliver his guitar. He had to tune it himself though.
