    I won’t be working.

However if needed too I usually do but most places are shut any way.

I’m Jewish; I usually work on Christmas day (unless I’m able to go down to see my own family) so that one of my Christian co-workers can be with his or her family on Christmas. They return the favor on Passover, so it works out well for all concerned.

    Vive l’diffĂ©rence :-)

In my country, every religious holiday is a public holiday because we’re multi-religious.

From christmas, vesak day to ramadan and deepavali, we take off-days on these religious holidays.

There is no difference to us here.

I would if it was open and they payed me double time and I was in the city.

    Alas…

I think it would be safe to guess slim few to none! What place of business is open on Christmas? I’m an atheist and you don’t see me going to school on Christmas, I stay home and spend time with my family, like most do.

Hundreds of millions of Buddhists,Confucians,Taoists, etc,in countries that don’t recognise Christian holidays.

There are going to be people of all different types of faiths working on Christmas, just like every other day. Just because it is a holiday does not mean that people do not need to feed their children. Xmas is an excellent time to work because no one else wants to that mean double shifts can easily be pulled.

I’d prefer not to work on Holidays. Everyone deserves a break. And that is a commonly set date for days off, or a business to be closed, so might as well use it for time off. Especially if you have kids, then you may do the whole Santa Claus thing. Besides i kind of like X-Mas. Just without the Jew baby.
