We've only got a couple of weeks left before stores start with the Xmas music. How long does it take you to get thoroughly fed up with hearing it?

I conducted a scientific study of just this thing. I can tell you for a fact, from the first second you walk into a store playing Christmas music to the instant you feel as though you are going to vomit is exactly 171/2 seconds. Proven fact.

About a week. Sooner if it’s elevator music.

I do like the following holiday songs.

12 Days of Christmas by Doug & Bob McKenzie

    Hanukkah Song by Adam Sandler

All I Want For Christmas by Mariah “Stop Wearing The Slut Clothing” Carey

I get tired of it about mid-January. Not so much because I dislike Christmas music, but because the variation is often minimal. The same Bing/Nat combos all the time.

Play some Trans-Siberian Orchestra… some Squirrel Nut Zippers… some Harry Connick Jr… things that aren’t always played.

Dude, I listen to Christmas music in July every year.
We have a Christmas Party on July 15th every year.
It started back in college as a joke and well….became a tradition.
