    I remember seeing a clip from this movie and thinking that it was going to a proper scary movie; like a horror film for kids!
    I remember getting it for xmas, and I couldn’t bring myself to watch it for the first time by myself! Had to have someone there with me!

    the teaser shows that disney was distrubuting it but the CEO of disney thought i would be too frightening and dark for a disney film (rumor has it he declined because he saw the workprint with the now-deleted scene with vampires playing hockey with a guy’s head) So they chose Touchstone to distrubute it and when it was released, disney got a little bit peed off of how successful it was. so about a decade later, they finally got the rights and made the 3D version. now every print is Disney’s
