When Should U Start Putting Up Xmas Decorations?

I really love xmas and cant wait to put up the tree and decorations! Do you think its too early?!

    Oh yes it’s too early yet, it loses it’s effect because you become used to them being there, it’s supposed to be from 12 days before Christmas until 12 days after, but nobody can bear to wait that long, we usually do it about the second week of December.

    As of right now I think it is too early but because there is still Thanksgiving to accommodate for, but best time to put up X-mas decorations is weekend after Thanksgiving weekend. That allows for ample time to forget about Thanksgiving and move onto X-mas

    its too early earliest time should be about 5 weeks before christmas also i didn’t know that they sold christmas trees around halloween (unless its plastic) i get can’t wait to put mine up too but i usually put it up a week before christmas so then it last’s tilll my birthday (1st jan)

    dont go by what others tell you as to when to put up the decorations. its your home and you choice when to do it..the earliest i have put mine up was mid october but they came down boxing day as i`d had enuff by then so mine now go up the 1st week in dec

    You can put up your decorations in stages.
    First indoors in specific rooms, then the whole house and outdoors.
    You can feel comfortable to put up your christmas decorations after most stores have put up theirs too.

    Seriously, I would wait til just before/just after Thanksgiving.

    Me too! I would’ve done it 3 weeks ago if my husband wouldnt think Im crazy. I just love shopping for new deco and putting up my tree. ;)
    But Im going to wait until the weekend after thanksgiving.

    it is supposed to be 12 days before christmas but i always put mine up first weekend in dec.
    yes it is far too early people will only coment on your being the house with the decs already

    13th December the twelve days of christmas starts on the 13th

    Put them up on Christmas Eve.
    Take them down on Twelfth Night.
    Or alternatively, whenever it pleases you!!
